AMICOM Consulting & Strategy: Case study KPMG
AMICOM Consulting & Strategy has implemented a successful media relations program for KPMG.
KPMG is a network of consultancy and audit firms with a turnover of $ 24.44 billion in the fiscal year 2015. The company network is present in 155 countries and is part of the group of the four largest audit firms in the world Big Four), alongside PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ernst & Young and Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu. KPMG started its activity on the Romanian market in 1994. Currently it operates through a network of five offices located in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Timisoara, Iasi and Constanta. KPMG in Romania now has over 850 employees, both Romanian and foreign (expatriate) citizens.
At the time, KPMG intended to communicate nationally the new legislative changes prepared by the European Union, in particular to modify the corporate tax rate on multinational companies. In this respect, AMICOM Consulting & Strategy has successfully implemented a media relations program targeted at Romanian financial publications. The objective of the project coordinated by the AMICOM team was to inform the Romanian journalists about the changes in the European legislation.
The AMICOM Consulting & Strategy approach has evolved from a media and media-mapping strategy and capitalized on relations with the most influential financial journalists in Romania.
